CAUTION to see this dentist. My 92 year old mother was referred to Dr. Zakaria because she had her annual exam and teeth cleaning and her dentist saw a small growth and wanted a biopsy done. I called for mom to set the appt. explaining that I am bringing her in for a biopsy, the dentist sent them pictures of the area he wanted taken for review, and we went to the office. We checked in again saying we are here for my moms biopsy and they checked us in and told us to wait. Not long after, mom went in and shortly after came out very upset because the dentist did NOT do a biopsy, but did a general exam of her entire mouth, charged her $150, because insurance did not cover because she had already had one covered, and is not covered for more than that. They then told her she has to set another appt. to do the biopsy and wanted a $500 down payment out of pocket. We were devastated as that is not what the appt was for and we were referred to this place from her dentist to do a biopsy, nothing more. Went back to her dentist, she referred another specialist, took mom, biopsy done, all set. This dentist TOOK ADVANTAGE of my mother, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Sad process!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Zakaria. I have been a patient for periodontal reasons for years, and recently had a dental implant placed that turned out to be more complex than expected. He handled it with incredible skill, care and concern - looking out for my best interest. Dr. Zakaria took the extra time needed to ensure everything was done safely and correctly. I am extremely grateful for him and would recommend him to anyone needing periodontal or implant work.

Dr. Zakaria found my jaw cancer by being proactive and sending for a biopsy to U of M. Turned out to be stage 4 cancer. I've been a patient for 10 years for different purposes and I'm very happy to still be a patient. Sandy Hartley

Dr. Zakaria took the time to explain every step of my gum graft procedure, making sure I felt comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout the entire process. His expertise and gentle approach made the experience pain-free and less anxiety inducing. I also can’t say enough about how kind and welcoming the entire office staff and front desk team were as well. They truly helped put me at ease from the moment I walked in. If you’re looking for a skilled periodontist who prioritizes patient comfort and exceptional care, I highly recommend Dr. Zakaria and his team. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Zakaria and his staff. I have been a patient for a few years and every appointment has been an excellent experience. He is very meticulous with his work. Doesn’t overcharge ridiculous fees like some others do. He is also honest about what you need done. I love his office staff. They are so nice and extremely efficient! His office is immaculate. Highly recommend!

Not trustworthy business, told my wife she had an infection that needed to be treated, which our insurance should have covered never gave antibiotics for the infection required a 1000 deposit for the first visit when we get there we are told this is the second visit and we needed to pay another 2500 to continue further. Then when we didn’t pay and cancelled the procedure they kept the 1000 deposit.

Had a procedure done a year ago and still recommend this place and Dr. Zakaria. It’s rare for me to leave a dental office after a procedure with little to no pain, but Dr. Zakaria truly knows what he’s doing. Even during work on my mouth, I couldn’t believe how painless and quick the process was. He made sure I was well-informed about the procedure and took the time to sit down with me to answer any questions I had. His staff is super friendly, and the office is exceptionally clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of a dentist who is not only skilled and professional, but genuinely cares about his patients.

This has been by far the best experience with an implant ever. This is my 3rd tooth for an implant, Dr Zakaria is very patient and exceptionally skilled. They offered several options for anxiety related to the procedure. Follow up care has been exceptional. His staff is polite and very pleasant. The office is very comfortable and clean. I will be a return client. I highly recommend Dr. Zakaria and his staff.
